Integration of MongoDB with DBMarlin
In this blog, we will learn how to integrate MongoDB with DBmarlin.
DBmarlin 6.1 Released – Now with MongoDB Support
We’re excited to announce the release of DBmarlin 6.1, one of the most significant updates in the product’s evolution. This version expands platform coverage, strengthens enterprise certifications, and introduces usability improvements designed to make database performance management even more streamlined and efficient.
MongoDB Joins the DBmarlin Family
With version 6.1, MongoDB is now officially supported. This marks an important milestone, as MongoDB becomes the first non-relational database platform supported by DBmarlin. Until now, DBmarlin has focused on the 10 most popular relational database engines. Expanding into NoSQL broadens visibility across modern data environments while maintaining the simplicity and consistency users expect.
Most importantly, it still feels exactly like DBmarlin.
MongoDB performance monitoring includes the same powerful capabilities available for relational platforms:
- Real-time Activity View with 1-second granularity
- Statement Statistics to identify top queries by execution count, duration, CPU time, waits, and CPU usage
- Automatic execution plan capture
- Integration with the DBmarlin AI-pilot for intelligent advice and performance recommendations
There’s no need to adopt a new workflow or learn a separate interface. MongoDB integrates seamlessly into the same monitoring model used across your entire database estate, enabling teams to manage hybrid environments with confidence.
Newly Certified Platforms
DBmarlin 6.1 also introduces certified support for:
- PostgreSQL 17
- IBM Db2 12.1
These certifications ensure compatibility with the latest enterprise database releases, helping organizations upgrade with assurance while maintaining performance visibility.
New Settings Screen for Greater Control
A redesigned Settings screen makes it easier to manage key parameters such as data retention policies and other configuration options. Administrators now gain greater visibility and control directly through the UI, eliminating the need to log into the backend for common changes.
With support now spanning both relational and non-relational platforms, DBmarlin 6.1 continues its mission: delivering a single, consistent, and powerful way to understand and optimize database performance across your entire infrastructure.
