Retrieving and Importing the Resources
Here in this blog, we are going to learn about Retrieving and Importing the resources in IBM App Connect.
This feature was available by IBM App Connect Version 12.0.9.0
If you need to retrieve and import application resources deployed on an integration server, you can perform these actions within the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit. There are various reasons why you might need to retrieve and import application resources into your workspace. However, we can’t retrieve and import all applications into over workspace at a time
Follow these steps to import resources from an integration server:
1. Begin by selecting the integration server and right-clicking on it. The choice to “Retrieve and Import Resources” will be visible.
2. Select “Retrieve and Import Resources.” A table will be displayed, listing the applications deployed on the integration server.
3. From the list of applications, choose the one you want to import with. Click the “Next” button to proceed. Another table will appear, displaying the application’s components that are available for import.
4. Within this new table, you can select specific resources, such as message flows, ESQL files, and referenced libraries associated with the application.
5. If the application has referenced libraries, you can also select them for import. Click the “Finish” button to complete the selection process.
6. If any libraries need to be imported by the application, ensure the checkbox is selected before clicking the “Finish” button.
7. Once these steps are completed, the chosen application’s resources will be available in over workspace.
By following these steps, you can efficiently retrieve and import application resources, facilitating your development and troubleshooting tasks. This process ensures that you have the necessary components readily available within the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.
The main advantage of this feature is to import an application into your workspace. If your workspace does not have that application, you can import it using this feature in IBM App Connect Version 12.0.9.0.
